— time lapse mode that allows you to "squeeze" a long period into a short video — for example, fit many hours of sunset into a 3-minute video. To do this, the camera shoots video at a low frame rate — 1 frame every few seconds; and after the shooting ends, these frames are combined into a clip that plays at a normal frame rate. Thus, the movement in the captured video looks accelerated. Time lapse can be used both as an artistic feature and for purely practical purposes. For example, you can shoot a long hike up the mountain: the video will be proof that the hike took place, and, at the same time, it will not take up much space and take a lot of time when viewing.
