Injector cleaners

— additives designed for cleaning fuel injectors from carbon deposits and other contaminants.

Such formulations are mainly produced for diesel engines — this is due to the specifics of such units and the fuel used in them. Essentially, almost all additives of this purpose are cleaning agents. It is also worth noting that some of them act not only on the injectors but also on the fuel system as a whole; the distinction from additives "for the fuel system" is the enhanced focus on cleaning the injectors.

The equivalent of such additives for gasoline engines are formulations "for injectors" (see the corresponding section).
