Injector cleaners

For injectors

— additives designed to clean fuel injectors from carbon deposits and other contaminants.

Such compositions are produced mainly for diesel engines — this is due to the specifics of such units and fuel for them. In fact, almost all additives for this purpose are flushes. Also note that some of them act not only on nozzles, but also on the fuel system as a whole; the difference from additives "for the fuel system" is precisely the increased emphasis on cleaning nozzles.

An analogue of such additives for gasoline engines are compositions "for the injector" (see the relevant paragraph).
