Xiaomi's subsidiary brand Amazfit is confidently holding its own in the smartwatch market, offering potential buyers quite interesting advanced-level watches, which at the same time are cheaper than their famous competitors. For example, in the T-Rex series, they produce relatively inexpensive shockproof tactical watches in the Garmin Tactix style with advanced navigation capabilities and the ability to work in both extremely high and extremely low temperatures (from +70 ℃ to -40 ℃). As a rule, they are equipped with a compass, barometer and integrated GPS with support for several satellite systems, they can download maps and create navigation along a walking route.

Otherwise, this is a completely familiar Amazfit smart watch with a Bluetooth receiver, Zepp OS, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, support for hundreds of sports modes and a variety of sensors for tracking heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, stress level, sleep quality, etc. In most cases, T-Rex watches are equipped with bright and vibrant AMOLED touch screens that provide good readability in the sun. With GPS turned off, a typical representative of the GTS series can hold a charge for 20 – 25 days.

The range of the series is represented by four watch models (note: the material is written in October 2023), the most popular option among which is Amazfit T-Rex 2. Despite the number 2 in the name, this is the third model in the series - before it there were Amazfit T-Rex and T-Rex Pro, and after it came T-Rex Ultra. The T-Rex 2 has a BioTracker 3.0 biometric sensor, supports the PAI health assessment system, and on top of that, the watch can automatically detect 25 different types of strength training and can conduct comprehensive training analysis using the PeakBeats system.
