3D printers for printing with SBS plastic
SBS
— a relatively new type of thermoplastic, the main feature of which is transparency: it is possible to create products from SBS that are practically indistinguishable from glass (including painted in different colours). In addition, this material is more flexible and elastic than ABS, which is an advantage both in finished products and in the printing process: the filament entering the extruder will not break even with a strong bend or significant stretch. The strength of SBS is quite high, and due to its chemical inertness, it is suitable even for food utensils. The main disadvantages of this material are the rather high printing temperature and low adhesion between layers, which makes the process difficult. No offers found
