USB port

— USB connector on the printer body. It is used mainly for working with external media, such as flash drives: by writing a project file to a flash drive and installing it in a USB port, you can print the model on a printer without even connecting the unit to a computer. Other ways to exchange information with external media are possible: updating firmware from a printer, copying data from a model scanner (see “Features”), etc. In addition, the USB port can be used for other purposes than its main purpose – for charging smartphones or other gadgets if there are no other energy sources nearby.
