By built-in, in this case, we mean pedals that are part of the body and do not provide detachment. This piece of equipment is mandatory for any stationary instrument (see "Body"), and there are usually three pedals, like on a real piano (and their functions can be reconfigured in some models). But portable models, on the contrary, never have this part — for them, the pedals are made plug-in, this is due to the design features.
