Digital pianos with chorus

— an effect that simulates the choral sound of multiple instruments. When the chorus is turned on, several “copies” are taken from each note, which sound in parallel — but not strictly simultaneously, but with a slight shift, up to 30 ms. The shift for each copy of the signal is chosen randomly, and due to this "discordance" it seems that several voices are sounding. However the chorus anyway is only an imitation of a choral performance, and not a full-fledged replacement for it (the difference between the processed signal and the real choir is quite noticeable). On the other hand, this effect is interesting in itself, as an artistic device.Show
