A seven-string electric guitar with a multi-scale design for progressive metal and djent, positioned between beginner and intermediate levels. The Cort KX307 Multi Scale belongs to the KX series, which has been recognized as a reliable workhorse for modern guitarists playing heavy and technical music since its introduction in 2018. The main feature of this model is that it offers all the advantages of a multi-scale construction at an affordable price.

Multi-scale means that the frets are angled (fan-shaped) instead of parallel, compensating for differences in string tension and providing a clearer, punchier, and tighter sound of each note, especially on the lower sixth and seventh strings. The neutral fret is positioned at the 8th fret for a more natural angle, making the transition to multi-scale feel comfortable even for those who have previously only played regular guitars.

The mahogany body combined with a bolt-on neck made of thermally treated maple delivers a dense yet articulate sound with a fast attack and a warm, deep resonance. Custom-designed passive PowerBar soap bar pickups provide evenly balanced sound across all seven strings with expressive articulation. The original fixed bridge with seven individually offset saddles allows precise adjustment of scale length and string height. The controls are as simple as possible: one volume knob, a tone knob, and a three-way pickup selector switch.
