Multifunctional cordless router for processing wood and wood-based products. The tool is a router head with a brushless motor (800 W of useful power) and a set of three replaceable bases: plunge (max. immersion depth 35 mm), edge (max. milling depth 40 mm) and inclined (tilt angle from 30 ° to 45 °). The rotation speed of the router is adjusted in the range of 10,000 - 30,000 rpm. The engine is controlled by constant electronics, which automatically maintains speed and torque under load.

The motor starts without jerking due to the presence of the "soft start" function. Two bright LEDs provide good illumination of the working area. The chuck of the Makita DRT50ZX2 router can clamp collets with a diameter of 6 and 8 mm. The tool comes with a roomy branded bag and accessories: a parallel stop for guiding the device along the edge and accessories for protection against sawdust and connecting a vacuum cleaner. There is no charger or battery included. Makita 18V LXT batteries with a capacity of 1.5 Ah to 6 Ah can be used as a power source.
