The 2026 debut from Asus is part of the ROG Strix gamer series — a 26.5-inch Quad HD monitor in the high-end price category. The model is designed to pique the interest of demanding gaming enthusiasts, featuring the proprietary Aura Sync RGB lighting and comes with the Proximity Sensor Neo, which can automatically put the display to sleep and wake it up. The screen is based on a 10-bit QD-OLED panel with a glossy Anti-Reflection coating, offering outstanding picture contrast, excellent viewing angles, and a wide color gamut, including coverage of 135% of the sRGB space and 99% DCI-P3.
Thanks to the OLED Care protection technology, which includes a special cooling radiator to prevent burn-in, the Asus ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDNG comes with a 3-year screen warranty. Gaming features include fast response time (0.03ms), high frame rates (360Hz), and a plethora of proprietary technologies and options, such as AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, real-time FPS counter display, brightening of dark parts of the frame based on AI algorithms (AI Shadow Boost function), aiming assistance, etc.
Additional model benefits include a USB hub with two ports (each with 5Gbps bandwidth), sought-after video signal transmission interfaces (two HDMI 2.1 and one DisplayPort v1.4), and an ergonomic stand. The stand features a hole for convenient cable management, a tripod socket (to fix a webcam), and maximum setup flexibility—tilt, swivel, height adjustment, and portrait mode switching.
