The Bowers & Wilkins over-ear headphones are a high-end solution made with premium materials. The body is crafted from cast aluminum, offering a combination of lightness, comfort, and durability, while the ear pads are made of genuine leather. The model's high-quality sound is ensured by 40mm full-range carbon drivers working in tandem with a 24-bit DSP (digital signal processor).
This duo maintains excellent detail and provides a wide dynamic range for music played from streaming platforms. The B&W PX8 S2 headphones are Hi-Res Audio certified and support premium codecs, including aptX Adaptive, guaranteeing excellent sound quality. Highlights include the active noise cancellation system and a transparency mode, along with all essential modern features such as automatic pause when removed, extended settings in the mobile app, and Multipoint.
The model offers combined connectivity: in addition to Bluetooth v5.3 pairing, wired connection to the audio source is available via USB-C (also used for charging). There is also a system of four microphones on each side to ensure excellent voice call quality and clear transmission of your speech to the caller. The battery life is up to 30 hours, with a fast charging option of 15 minutes for 7 hours of music listening, in addition to a full two-hour cycle. The convenience of storage is enhanced by the swivel ear cups and the included sturdy zippered case.
