The "widest" prime lens from the Fujifilm XF line of optics, sharpened for sharing with Fuji APS-C format mirrorless cameras. Given the crop factor of this system 1.5x, the model provides shooting at a focal length of 12 mm. In the best way, the lens manifests itself in the genres of landscape, architectural and interior photography. The model is assembled in an all-metal case with dust and moisture protection.

Inside the Fujifilm 8mm f/3.5 R XF WR is an optical design of 12 elements arranged in 9 groups. Among them there are three aspherical and two extra-low dispersion lenses. In addition, the front glass of the lens is coated with a fluorine coating, designed to protect the optics from raindrops and dirt. The ultra-wide design also has separate focus rings and aperture settings. The 9-blade diaphragm deserves special praise. It is allowed to install traditional filters with a diameter of 68 mm on the front frame of a fixed lens. The model weighs about 215 g, and the dimensions of its case are 68x53 mm.
