Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER GAMING OC 16G (GV-N407TSGAMING OC-16GD)

A massive upgraded modification of the NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti video accelerator from the SUPER subseries, which NVIDIA introduced at the beginning of 2024. In the updated line of green video cards, it occupies a place in the center, ahead in power of the RTX 4060, as well as the basic versions of the RTX 4070, but inferior to the flagship models RTX 4080 and 4090. Like all video accelerators of the RTX 4000 series, it supports the latest tracing functions rays and improved supersampling DLSS 3.0 with a new Optical Flow engine and frame generation function, which increased the efficiency of DLSS algorithms by 2-4 times.

This power surge is especially important when using hardware ray tracing, which creates realistic lighting and shadows in games, but consumes an inordinate amount of system resources. As a result of this, the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER GAMING OC 16G is capable of delivering a stable frame rate of 60+ frames per second at high and maximum graphics settings and 2K resolution in all blockbusters of recent years, including Baldur's Gate 3, Diablo 4, Cyberpunk 2077 and Horizon Forbidden West.

It is also quite suitable for gaming in 4K, since compared to the regular version of the RTX 4070 Ti, the SUPER modification increased the amount of video memory from 12 to 16 GB, and also expanded the memory bus from 192 to 256 bits. Compared to the base RTX 4070 Ti, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER is 10% faster. The Gigabyte Gaming version of this GPU is not particularly memorable visually: the rough casing is completely painted black, the decoration is provided by RGB LEDs on the fan blades, which turn into rings of fire at high speed.

Cooling is provided by the proprietary WindForce cooling system with a wide copper base, a massive radiator with a stack of heat-conducting tubes and three active fans with alternating rotation. The board itself occupies exactly 3 slots on the motherboard, its length reaches 30 cm, and at peak load this “baby” consumes about almost 300 W, so it is recommended to install it only in full-size cases with an ATX format motherboard and a power supply of at least 750 Tue.
