The video card is equipped with 10240 stream processors and operates at core frequencies of up to 2550 MHz. The amount of RAM is 16 GB of GDDR6X type, which through a 256-bit bus ensures fast data exchange with the system. Compared to the base model RTX 4080, the performance of the SUPER version is improved: in some titles the advantage reaches up to 8%, although in most cases the FPS increase is limited to 5%.
The Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER WINDFORCE V2 16G is priced the same as the standard RTX 4080. Using DLSS 3.0 technology, which improves image quality without sacrificing speed, the GPU delivers serious 4K performance. The cooling system of the video card features a triple 100mm fan with asymmetrical blades and a radiator with triple copper tubes that provide efficient and quiet cooling. When the temperature drops to 50 degrees Celsius, the system automatically switches to silent operation, which is made possible by the use of graphene lubricant in the bearings. The video accelerator has compact dimensions - only 33 cm long and three slots thick, while power consumption is just over 300 W, requiring a power supply of at least 750 W.
