Compact ANSI format model with a universal USB connector, which allows you to connect it to both a PC and a laptop. The wire length of 1.8 metres makes it possible to use the keyboard not only on the table, but also on your knees, which in some cases provides additional convenience, given that this is a gaming model. Mechanical buttons are reliable and have a long service life.
According to the manufacturer, the keys are designed for tens of millions of keystrokes. The Kingston HyperX Alloy Origins Core keyboard is equipped with a detachable cable, which makes it convenient to transport — packing a device with a wire removed is much easier than with a coiled around the case. The game mode provides blocking of individual buttons, allowing the gamer to fully concentrate on the game, and not think about the consequences if the finger hits the wrong area. The keyboard has a Skeleton body, making the keys easy to remove and insert. The backlight provides convenient use of equipment in the dark, and lighting effects make the device beautiful and dynamic. To expand the functionality of the technique is equipped with the "Fn" button.

Tournament version of the popular keyboard
Over the past couple of years, the Kingston HyperX gaming division has been heavily leaning on gaming peripherals. They rarely shoot, but accurately, so most of the products do not pass by the players, and some become real hits. We do not undertake to judge what is the fate of the new HyperX Alloy Origins Core keyboard, but the impressions from it are the most pleasant. Like the original HyperX Alloy, this esports version stands out with interesting custom-designed switches and a body made from a single piece of aluminium.
Red switches of our own design
Let's start with switches. Among their advantages, Kingston / HyperX engineers note a short stroke to the actuation point and an increased resource for failure (up to 80 million clicks). The total key travel is 3.8mm, the travel is 1.8mm, and the actuation force is 45g. They resemble traditional red switches in character, but unlike them, they are not as light and do not accidentally press under the weight of the fingers.
Lots of pros and no cons
After a couple of weeks of use, the impressions from HyperX Alloy Origins Core are the most positive - it's a simple, elegant, reliable and very comfortable keyboard without weaknesses. At the same time, it has additional goodies like a removable cable or built-in memory, which allows you to record macros, control the backlight, or change the assignment of keys. Up to three profiles can be stored in memory. To this should be added a bright, but not annoying backlight and proprietary software that allows you to fine-tune the keyboard functions, if it is really necessary.
