Among HyperX keyboards, this is the best model. Among other brands - no, it's not the best. But much better than average. What's great here are the proprietary switches. Similar to Gaterons, smooth, in my opinion cooler than Cherry. And they don't wobble like that. Switches, bright backlighting, decent materials, Type C, Cherry stabs, soundproofing. ABS mouthguards. If they were PBT, that would be awesome. |
Very cool switches (red HyperX), incredibly linear, soft, smooth, in general, reeeally awesome switches, even better than Cherry and Gateron. Very bright and beautiful backlighting. "Skeleton" - this is, of course, subjective, but for me, who likes the "classic" type of structure, it is aesthetically more pleasing than the "classic." However, since I have a long-haired pet (dog) at home, which sheds a lot, the "skeleton" suits me better because it's easy and convenient to clean anything that gets inside. Also, the "skeleton" doesn't disgust me, so that's a plus. Now about the materials used in the keyboard, it's aviation aluminum. The keyboard is monolithic; you cannot bend it in any way. Aluminum is both on top and bottom, making it very heavy (900 grams). When you open the box and take this keyboard in your hands, it feels like a really expensive product. Now about the minuses: 1. Keycaps - the minus of these keycaps is that they are incredibly thin, they are ABS with engraving, but the keycaps are covered with a very pleasant SoftTouch coating (rubberized). In short, the keycaps are poor in execution, but they feel like a bomb to the touch. 2 Stabilizers are a sore point for HyperX; they make noise, and they make a lot of noise. This is essentially also subjective, but still, the keyboard costs 10,000 (without discounts) and is still too expensive. |
I have been using this model for 3 months and I will say that keycaps are not the same as in FPS, FPS Pro. At Origins Core, they are pleasant to the touch, but also fragile, the candles are lubricated here, I liked it. Good RGB lighting, and the form itself is compact. Claims only to fragile keycaps, and then they are pleasant to the touch Cool lighting, oiled candles, candles themselves and pleasant to the touch keycaps Fragile keycaps |

Solid aircraft-grade aluminium base
HyperX Alloy Origins Core is a relatively simple and high quality mechanical keyboard designed by gamers for gamers. No matter how trite it may sound. It uses excellent blue switches of its own production, at the base lies a massive slab of aircraft-grade aluminium. HyperX Alloy Origins Core looks elegant and, more importantly, comes with comfortable keycaps and supports NKRO.
Detachable cable, game mode and NKRO
The keyboard is equipped with built-in memory, which allows you to record macros in proprietary software and “plant” commands on individual buttons or their combinations. It is also equipped with a game mode, when turned on, keys not used in the game are blocked, which means that you can not worry that if you accidentally press the session, it will be interrupted. Additional advantages of the model include a detachable cable, rich lighting effects and excellent build quality. Such mechanics must live for many years.
Proven in esports tournaments
In general, this brainchild of HyperX is an excellent option for a mechanical keyboard for both gaming and working with large amounts of text. She has no significant shortcomings, and for the perfect there is not enough only a key to dismantle the keycaps. Moreover, this is far from the first device of the company, which begs only for compliments - it’s not without reason that the company’s keyboards and headsets are increasingly seen at major eSports tournaments.
