The tenth generation of damn powerful business-class ultrabooks with powerful hardware, advanced equipment, a shockproof case and a branded trackpoint, which is traditionally located in the very center of the branded keyboard. The Intel Alder Lake platform (Core i5 / i7 processors) with hybrid P and E-cores was chosen as the iron foundation, which intelligently distributes workloads between the necessary threads and cores, increasing system performance and at the same time reducing its power consumption.

The processor is complemented by 16/32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, an NVMe SSD with a capacity of 512 to 1024 GB, and an Intel Iris Xe graphics card built into the CPU. All Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 devices are equipped with high-end 14-inch IPS displays with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels (16:10 aspect ratio), increased brightness margin (useful for outdoor work) and natural color reproduction (100% sRGB coverage).

The idea that a serious work laptop should be well protected runs like a red thread throughout the history of the series. In the case of the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10, we are talking about an extremely lightweight and durable magnesium and aluminium box that weighs only 1.12 kg (with a thickness of 15 mm) and at the same time meets the MIL-STD-810 protection standard. Additional security measures include a TPM module, a fingerprint reader, an anti-theft kensington/noble lock, and a Face ID camera.

As befits modern business-class laptops, the webcam is equipped with a Full HD sensor, 4 built-in omnidirectional microphones and a physical shutter with which you can close the camera eye. Presence detection based on Computer Vision automatically locks the device when the user leaves the laptop. The built-in battery is responsible for the autonomy of the device, which, paired with an energy-efficient processor, can provide an impressive 20 hours of operation from a single charge. There is support for fast charging. The built-in network module supports NFC, Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6E. Part of the USB ports belongs to the fourth generation and supports the Thunderbolt 4 protocol.
