Model overview based on user reviews
The Logitech Wireless Mouse M317 is a highly reliable and convenient option for those seeking a simple, long-lasting mouse. Its standout feature is its incredible battery life, running on a single AA battery for years, making it ideal for office use, travel, or as a remote control for large monitors. While it lacks side buttons and adjustable DPI, its compact design and ability to work on any surface make it a practical choice. Users appreciate its comfort and durability, with one user noting flawless performance for four years. However, it's not recommended for gaming due to its modest specifications and low polling rate. Overall, the M317 is a great investment for everyday tasks.

A very cool mouse for the office, for travel.

If you are looking for a mouse that doesn't need to be charged every week, can be taken on the go with a laptop or connected to a TV, here it is. Yes, yes, it's right in front of you. Yes, it has only two buttons, a scroll wheel, and a button underneath. And in most cases, that's enough.

The main feature of this mouse is that it runs on a single AA battery... for years. I used it for about two years at work, then when I switched to working from home, it went into a drawer. When I moved to the summer house, I remembered it again, took it out, turned it on, it worked, and then it went back into the drawer... I haven't changed the battery since I bought it. How did they do that?

In fact, everything can be explained by very modest specifications. The sensor here operates on a single frequency, and the response speed is minimal. So taking it for playing shooters is not the best idea, I say as someone who has tested it.

In shape, it is miniature and designed for a fingertip grip. The battery adds a bit of weight, and it feels heavier than my wireless Asus ROG Gladius III Aimpoint.

At the bottom, we have a power button, an off-center optical sensor, and a battery compartment cover, where besides the AA battery, there is a USB receiver for wireless connection to a PC, in case you suddenly don't have Bluetooth.
Longevity It's just some kind of magic. Mice don't last that long on a single battery. It's small but quite comfortable.
There are not enough side buttons. DPI cannot be adjusted. The polling rate is very low and also without adjustment.
