Model overview based on user reviews
The Logitech G502 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse is praised for its high-quality assembly, reliable sensor, and amazing button clicks. Users appreciate its comfortable fit and customizable buttons, making it suitable for both gaming and professional applications. The mouse features a fantastic scroll wheel with a free-scroll mode and offers weight adjustment for personalized comfort. It holds a charge for a long time, with some users reporting up to two weeks of battery life. However, some find the mouse heavy and mention a complex software interface. There are also concerns about the weight imbalance and durability of the rubber coating. Despite these issues, many users consider it the best mouse they've ever used, citing its multifunctionality and flexibility in settings as standout features. The price is considered high, but many feel it is justified by the mouse's performance and features.

The best mouse in my life
15 December 2024
I got it as a gift for my birthday. I'm 100% satisfied. It looks like a spaceship. It fits in the hand as if it was made just for it. With active daily use, it holds a charge for up to two weeks. The weights included allow you to precisely adjust the comfortable weight. Each key is conveniently placed, I would even say organically - without the risk of accidental presses or the need to twist your fingers into uncomfortable positions. Any of the 9 keys can be assigned any custom functionality - shortcuts, commands, etc. At first, I couldn't understand why I needed such deep customization, but it quickly became a natural part of my daily work and relaxation at the computer - for browsing, specific work programs, and favorite games, I have separate profiles that significantly ease any process. A little cherry on top - free scroll. The ability to make 1 movement instead of 10-15 finger movements to instantly scroll, for example, a webpage - pure love. In short, if you want an awesome, beautiful, comfortable, multifunctional, and flexible mouse in terms of settings and don't mind the budget, G502 Lightspeed is my recommendation for you.
- looks fantastic
- fits in the hand like a glove
- really holds a charge for a long time
- convenient placement of each button
- absolutely unlimited customization of functionality considering different contexts
- free scroll - a must-have
Quite expensive for a mouse. However, it is justified.

If you have money for a good mouse, then this is your option.
1 April 2022
Very good mouse! Comfortable shape, good build quality and cool wheel. Tactilely pleasant side rubberized panels and a proprietary optical sensor from Logitech, which under no circumstances breaks. With the backlight turned off, the battery lasts about three days, and with the backlight turned on, about 24 hours. The kit comes with weights that can increase the weight of the mouse by 16 grams.
1. Shape. It is very comfortable, suitable for palm and claw grip, but in my opinion, the mouse is too heavy for fingertip grip.
2. Build quality.
3. Wheel. The fast scroll mode is very pleasant.
4. Customizable buttons.
5. Lighting. A debatable advantage, it depends on personal preference.
6. Excellent sensor. If you need a mouse for playing CS:GO, then this is your option.
3. Wheel wobble. Because the wheel clicks both to the left and to the right.

Not a gaming mouse disguised as a gaming mouse.
29 January 2021
Given the price and serious issues with weight, I can conclude that this is essentially not a gaming mouse, because there are plenty of alternatives for the same money but without those problems, even from Logitech themselves (G703 and G Pro Wireless). So, who is it for? Probably for people like me - those who wanted to buy an MX Master 3 but realized that it's a piece of marketing with a poor sensor and a gimmick in the form of a side wheel, useful only in spreadsheet work, which "somewhat" doesn't align with the image of a "tool for creators" actively formed by all the tech bloggers who advertised it. The G502 has become a truly worthy alternative here.
Assembly and materials
Long battery life
Soft cord, braided
Smooth, enjoyable wheel movement
The main disadvantage of the mouse is the weight imbalance, which cannot be fixed with weights. It's a pity that Logitech made the wheel lighter in the wireless version - the mouse's center of gravity is in the back, and the weight slots are in the center, which essentially makes them pointless.
There is also a slight play on the right mouse button, but as far as I know, this is a traditional issue with all G502 and G903 mice.

Freedom from wires

Logitech G502 Lightspeed is a gaming wireless mouse with an optical sensor up to 16000 DPI and a response time of just 1ms. In addition, it lends itself to the finest customization for the needs of each specific user. The dimensions of the mouse are quite large (length 13 cm), the weight is average (114 g), and the shape is asymmetric (for right-handers). Left-handers should take a closer look at the symmetrical G903 Lightspeed.

New hero

The Logitech G502 Lightspeed is based on the innovative HERO 16K sensor. Even at a maximum resolution of 16,000 dpi, it captures hand movements at speeds up to 10 m/s without interruption. At the same time, HERO 16K consumes battery power ten times slower than its predecessors. The mouse battery lasts for 48 hours with the backlight on and 60 with it off.

Electricity over the air

There are two ways to charge the Logitech G502 Lightspeed: via a USB cable and wireless Powerplay. It only takes 5 minutes via cable to charge the battery for 2.5 hours of operation. In the case of using the Logitech G PowerPlay branded gaming surface, the mouse will be charged wirelessly in real time. The polling frequency of the mouse, both wired and wireless, thanks to Lightspeed technology is 1000 Hz, and the response time is 1 ms.

Perfect fit

You can assign macros (combinations of actions) in games and professional work applications to each of the eleven Logitech G502 Lightspeed keys. A pair of main buttons is based on mechanical microswitches that can withstand up to 50 million clicks. If desired, the mouse can be made heavier with the help of six weights hiding under the magnetic cover (plus 16 g in total). Finally, the RGB lighting LIghtsync for maximum immersion is automatically synchronized with what is happening in the game (visual or audio). There is a wireless Logitech G502 Lightspeed and a cheaper wired version of the G502 Hero.
