Designed for sawing work, including cutting at various angles and with high precision. The manufacturer is positioned as a professional tool for use in small carpentry workshops. This model received a powerful electric motor (1650 W), providing an idle speed of 4800 rpm.

As a sawing tool, it uses discs with a diameter of 255 mm with a seat size of 30 mm. Thanks to a powerful dust-proof motor, the Makita 2704 saw provides a high cutting speed for wood of various species, wood-based composite materials (chipboard, chipboard, laminates), as well as plastics and non-ferrous metals (when specialized saw blades are installed). The maximum cutting depth at a right angle is 93 mm, when the cutting tool is tilted by 45°, the depth is reduced to 64 mm.

The angle adjustment system allows cutting at angles from 0 to 45° (left). It has a soft start system and an electric motor brake, locks are provided that increase the safety of use. Equipped with saw blade B-17712 (24 teeth, thickness 2.4 mm), parallel and angular stop, table extension, as well as conventional and socket wrenches for maintenance of the structure. It is possible to connect a system for removing cutting products, which can be used as an industrial vacuum cleaner.
