A cordless cutting machine designed for cutting metal pipes, profiles and other types of rolled products directly at the installation site. Thanks to the large size of the cutting disc (∅355 mm), this machine can cut pipes with a diameter of up to 127 mm. The Makita DLW140Z cut-off saw bed has a vice that allows you to clamp workpieces in three different positions at any angle ranging from 90° to 45° without the use of auxiliary tools.
The machine is equipped with a brushless motor with a starting current limiter, which ensures smooth acceleration of the cutting disc without jerking, and a brake for quickly stopping the cutting equipment. The tool is supplied without battery and charger. Power requires two batteries from the Makita 18V LXT family. Rechargeable batteries with a capacity from 1.5 Ah to 6 Ah can be used as power sources.
