The MLS100N model differs from the MLS100 model in that it takes into account the new requirements for IEC/EN/AS/NZS 62841 safety standards

Corded electric miter saw equipped with a 1500 W motor that drives the blade at speeds of up to 1500 rpm. Uses 255 mm saw blades (30 mm arbor) as the cutting accessory. The motor features an electric brake for rapid blade stop after the saw is switched off. This tool can be used for processing workpieces made of wood, plastic, and soft non‑ferrous metals. The Makita MLS100N miter saw has no slide mechanism. The table can rotate 45° left and right. The saw head tilts 45° to the left. Maximum cross-section at 90° cuts — 75×130 mm; at 45° blade tilt — 75×90 mm. Included is a textile dust bag (a vacuum hose can be connected instead of the bag). The power cord length is 2.5 m. The equipment weighs 14.7 kg.
