A small and lightweight battery-powered hand-held circular saw designed for cutting wood and panel materials used for construction and decoration. The tool is designed to work with saw blades with a diameter of 136 mm and a mounting hole of 20 mm. When cutting at an angle of 90°, the Makita DSS501Z circular saw can make cuts up to 51 mm deep (when making bevel cuts at 45°, the maximum cutting depth is limited to 35 mm). The sole is made of stamped metal. It can tilt up to 50°. On the protective casing there is a backlight module that illuminates the cutting line, and a pipe for connecting a vacuum cleaner. The power source should be a battery from the Makita 18V LXT family. The tool is supplied without battery and charger.
