Model DDF487Z comes without battery, charger and case, while model DDF487RAJ comes with two batteries (2Ah), charger and Makpac case.
A general purpose cordless drill/driver designed for use by installers, builders and mechanics servicing various types of equipment. The tool is equipped with a brushless motor, a two-speed gearbox (500/1700 rpm) and a 21-stage clutch for adjusting the tightening force. Torque in “hard” mode reaches 40 Nm, and in “soft” mode – 25 Nm. Therefore, using a Makita DDF487Z screwdriver, you can tighten screws up to M6 and screws up to 6x75 mm in size.
In drilling mode, the tool can make holes in wood (up to 36 mm in diameter) and metal (up to 13 mm). For working in low light conditions, LED backlighting is built into the housing under the socket. The chuck has a quick-release mechanism. It can accommodate drills with shanks with a diameter of 1.5 - 13 mm and hex bits. The tool is 150 mm long and weighs 1.3 - 1.6 kg (depending on the battery used). In this configuration, the screwdriver is supplied without a battery and charger. Makita 18V LXT batteries with a capacity of 2 Ah to 6 Ah should be used as a power source.
