The model belongs to the top level and is aimed at overclocking enthusiasts and gamers who plan to play exclusively in 2K/4K. MSI GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 16G SUPRIM X operates with 10240 stream processors, a core frequency of 2655 MHz, and 16 GB of GDDR6X video memory communicates with the system via a 256-bit bus.

Compared to the regular version of the RTX 4080, the power of the SUPER modification has increased slightly: in some games its advantage can reach 8%, but in most cases the average FPS increase does not exceed 5%. However, the official price is the same as the RTX 4080. In terms of pure gaming performance, the MSI GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 16G Suprim X with its 16 GB of video memory turns out to be an almost ideal option for 4K resolution, especially if you use the DLSS technology exclusive to the 4000 series 3.0 with a sensational frame generation system.

Its high power rating makes it an excellent choice not only for gamers, but also for 3D graphics, animation and game development professionals. By tradition, the video accelerator comes with a set of proprietary applications, among which the NVIDIA Studio package of applications for working with graphics and animation stands out. In terms of dimensions, the video card turned out to be quite large: the length of the printed circuit board reaches almost 34 cm, the video card itself occupies 3.7 slots in the motherboard, and its power consumption is a respectable 320 W. The graphics card cooling system includes a compact heatsink, an array of heat-conducting pipes and three large TRI-FROZR fans that support completely silent Zero Frozr operation. Considering that the series video cards overclock well, the manufacturer recommends not limiting the system to a 750-watt power supply, but investing in a more powerful 850-watt option.
