Nikon 16-50mm f/3.5-6.3 Z VR DX Nikkor

A universal zoom lens in a compact “pancake” form factor, released by a specialist for a cropped fleet of Nikon Z mirrorless cameras. Together with such cameras, it covers the demanded focal length range of 24-75 mm in full frame equivalent. The aperture of the lens is “floating” — from f / 3.5 at the short end to f / 6.3 at the telephoto zoom position. Pictures can be taken from different positions — from wide-angle to portrait.

The optical stabilization system on board the Nikon Nikkor Z DX 16-50mm f/3.5-6.3 VR compensates for up to 4.5 stops of shutter speed and exposure when shooting handheld or in low light conditions. In the compact body of the model, they managed to place an optical circuit of 9 elements in 7 groups, as well as an automatic focus system drive with a focus distance of 20 cm (in the wide-angle zoom position). As a load, the lens was equipped with a customizable control ring, to which the functions of manual focus, aperture or exposure compensation are assigned. With case dimensions of 70x32 mm, the "station wagon" weighs about 155 g.
