Dust and moisture protection
The lens features a dust- and moisture-resistant design, thanks to rubber seals located at the bayonet mount and other vulnerable areas. Inside the lens, an optical system is used consisting of 12 elements, combined into 10 groups. To minimize distortion, two aspherical lenses are provided, and one ED element combats chromatic aberrations. Protection from glare is provided by a Nano Crystal Coat coating applied to individual lenses in the design.
Multi-focus system
The lens features fast and silent autofocus, which is based on two STM stepper motors. The user can fully trust the automation, and if necessary, manual focus adjustment is available at any time via a wide control ring. The ring can be reassigned to perform other functions via the camera menu.
Pure pleasure
The lens has a 9-blade aperture, supports 72mm filters and weighs 450g. Although it is not a compact model, using this lens is a real pleasure due to its comfortable ergonomics and high image quality.
