A sharp-sighted camera with non-replaceable optics for shooting at long distances. It's no joke, Nikon Coolpix P950 got hold of a lens with an optical magnification of 83.3x — in the equivalent of a 35 mm film frame, ultrazoom photos are taken in the range of focal lengths from 24 to 2000 mm. And if this is not enough, the user has the right to resort to the services of the digital zoom Dynamic Fine Zoom, which increases the focal length to an unattainable figure of 4000 mm.

The lens aperture of the camera "floats" from f / 2.8 at the short end to f / 6.5 at the telezoom. The Dual Detect Optical VR optical vibration reduction system protects the image from blurring. The Nikon Coolpix P950 supports 7fps sequential photography and 4K video recording at up to 30fps. The footage is saved to the SD card. The ultrazoom is equipped with a touch screen on a swivel joint, an OLED viewfinder, a full-size hot shoe. Wireless communications are represented by GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC modules. The camera is powered by an EN-EL20a rechargeable battery with the expectation of the possibility of "shooting" about 290 frames without energy "refueling".
