A full-frame mirrorless camera with an exquisite retro design — the model is crafted in the image of vintage Nikon film cameras. Despite this, the shooting capabilities present us with a quite advanced modern solution. The camera is equipped with a 24.5-megapixel BSI CMOS image sensor, placed on a stabilization platform. The camera's in-body image stabilization system compensates for up to 8 stops of shutter speed or frame exposure, which is very useful for shooting with long exposures and in video recording mode.

Video is recorded at a maximum resolution of 4K at 30 fps from the entire sensor plane, and with a 1.5x crop factor, it shoots in 4K format at 60 fps. Additionally, internal 10-bit recording in H.265 is available to the operator. The Nikon Zf body employs an advanced autofocus system with 299 points, boasting 3D tracking and object detection functions based on artificial intelligence algorithms. Notably, the model features two memory card slots (UHS-II class SD and UHS-I class microSD). The camera body is dust- and moisture-resistant, and another highlight of the model is a special physical switch for black-and-white shooting mode, allowing the use of multiple monochrome settings.
