Snapshot size:5152x3864 px

A classic of the compact camera genre with a strong emphasis on ease of use. The camera turned out to be so tiny (95x60x29 mm) and light (164 g) that it easily fits into a spacious outerwear pocket or, for example, into a ladies' handbag. The core of the camera is a typical 1/2.3" matrix with a resolution of 20.1 MP. The Nikon Coolpix A100 lens provides a 5x optical zoom, shooting in the range of equivalent focal lengths of 26-130 mm.

The built-in optics aperture ranges from f/ 3.2 at the short end up to f / 6.5 at the maximum zoom position. The optimal scene mode for various shooting conditions is selected by the camera automatically. Neither manual settings nor support for shooting in the "raw" RAW format, the camera, of course, was "delivered". The "brain" of the digital compact has 16 scene programs.Without recharging, the model stays "afloat" until the user takes about 250 shots — this is exactly the resource claimed by the camera's battery.

Nikon adds the powerful and agile Nikon Z8 Mirrorless Camera Body with FTZ II Mount Adapter to its range of professional Z mirrorless cameras. Packing a host of Z9 features into a lightweight body, the all-new Z 8 gives hybrid video/stills creators astounding flexibility with which to bring their vision to life. With its incredible... moreblend of class-leading performance and compact build, the Z 8 is an exciting follow up to the Z 9 and a true creative successor. Featuring the same sensor that debuted in the Z9, the FX-format 45.7MP BSI stacked CMOS sensor offers a useful combination of resolution, fast readout speeds, impressive clarity, and minimal noise. The stacked design contributes to reduced rolling shutter while the BSI designation ensures improved noise levels when working at the top end of the extended ISO 32-102400 range. Also, the 45.7MP resolution and full-frame sensor size hit a sweet spot that benefits photographers working in detail-oriented genres as well as enables recording video at resolutions up to 8K. 3;Complementing the sensor is the EXPEED 7 processing engine, which offers speeds approximately 10x faster than a Z7 II. This engine works in conjunction with the stacked sensor design to realize impressively fast AF speeds, burst shooting rates, a high buffer capacity, fluid video performance, and quick all-around handling.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Nikon Coolpix A100 is an ultra-compact and lightweight digital camera, comparable in size and weight to a button-operated GSM mobile phone, making it highly portable and convenient to carry in any pocket. It features a twenty-megapixel sensor, which is impressive for its price point, although the effective pixel count may be closer to 10 MP. The camera's autofocus is generally quick, except in low-light conditions where it struggles. However, it lacks purely manual settings, which can be limiting for some users. The flash is relatively weak, effective only up to 3-3.5 meters. The display, while large, has a low resolution, showing graininess and individual dots. Saving images at maximum quality can take a few seconds, potentially due to the memory card used. Despite these drawbacks, it serves well for basic photography needs, especially for those who prioritize portability and affordability.
Pros

Cons

good model, I liked it
30 March 2017
My job is mobile merchandising. I represent a well-known domestic company involved in the liquor and spirits business. I was given a company camera for photographing displays, placing promo materials, and other job-related needs. But it just happened that I managed to damage it. It slipped out of my pocket and fell awkwardly, with the lens hitting the edge of a metal container. The camera wasn't expensive, just this model. Theoretically, I could continue using a smartphone, but it would need a smartphone with a decent camera, and for New Year, I got myself an interesting Chinese one with a powerful processor, three gigabytes of memory ... and a terrible camera module. My direct supervisor explained that they could issue me a new camera without any problems, but they would deduct about 3000 hryvnias from my salary for the old one. In short, I looked at the prices and realized that it's cheaper if I just buy it myself.
Ultra-compact and lightweight camera with basic features. Its dimensions are only 9.5x6x2 cm, weighing just over 100 grams. Does it remind you of anything? Yes, it's the weight and size of a regular button-operated GSM mobile phone! This means it comfortably fits in any pocket, including a shirt pocket. A twenty-megapixel sensor for a $100 camera is cool. Of course, there are far fewer effective pixels than claimed; it's good if it reaches 10 MP, but for my needs, that's more than enough. The display has a diagonal of about 8 centimeters. Autofocus works quickly (except in dark corners).
There are no purely manual settings, which would sometimes be very useful. The flash is weak and doesn't reach further than 3-3.5 meters. Autofocus works poorly in low light conditions, often missing or refusing to focus altogether. The resolution of the large display is low, and you can see graininess and individual dots. If you set the maximum picture quality, it takes 2-3 seconds to save each shot, but this is likely the fault of the cheaply purchased memory card.
