Model overview based on user reviews
The Oukitel WP5 smartphone is designed for users who prioritize durability and reliability, featuring a robust build with a rubberized body, IP68 water resistance, and MIL-STD-810 shock resistance, making it ideal for tough environments. Its 8000 mAh battery offers extended usage time, especially when network activity is minimized, although some users report discrepancies in battery performance. The phone includes useful features such as a bright LED flashlight and face and fingerprint recognition, enhancing its functionality. While the screen is appreciated for its size and quality, the phone's heavy and bulky design can be cumbersome for some users. The camera is considered adequate for basic photography needs, including underwater filming, but some users experience issues with focus. However, the operating system has been reported to have performance issues, including slowdowns and glitches. Despite these drawbacks, the Oukitel WP5 remains a viable option for those seeking a rugged and reliable smartphone, particularly for outdoor or demanding work environments.

Not for all.

I've been using it for more than 3 months. The choice of such a devas is determined by the lifestyle. Fishing and work (mainly on construction sites). Already checked for strength. He flew off the stepladder and then tumbled over another flight of stairs. (Phone, not me). The protective glass was chipped from the edge, but the device itself was not damaged. So, I recommend additional glass and a bumper. The brick is large, again I recommend good wireless ears. Less dragging it out of your pocket. There is information that the model has a camera glitch. Does not work in stabilization mode. This didn't happen on mine. But check when buying. The processor is fast and the screen is good. But this also has a side effect. They actively eat the battery. Watching movies non-stop for 18-20 hours and that’s it. In my rhythm, something like this: the player is 10 hours a day (audiobooks), the Internet and instant messengers are 2-3 hours, and calls 1.5 hours are surely enough for three days. When fishing, if you cut off all network activity and use it only as a dialer, you can stretch it out for a week and a half... But that’s all. So, if someone has rolled out their lip and doesn’t go near an outlet for weeks, roll it back up. Android 10 was initially somewhat crookedly Russified. The update fixed the issue. No comments on toys. Not my topic. I also don’t undertake to adequately highlight the camera’s work. For me it’s normal, taking a photo of the electrical panel with details is enough. The model is clearly not for a wide audience. But for your money and for your purposes, quite. This is an attempt to create a charged, protected smat. Possibly overcharged. At the expense of autonomy.
Nice screen. Finger and face recognition works clearly. There is a lanyard mount, which allows you to more confidently remove and hold a large and heavy device with wet hands. The lantern is good.
The control buttons on the side edges are too soft. A heavy device implies a firm grip. At the same time, there is a high likelihood of accidental pressing. And also, maybe it's just me being picky, but I got used to having an indicator light on the front panel. Light indicators for missed calls and SMS, and a red eye when it "wants to eat".... Overall, I miss the LED.

Telephone for working hands

Excellent phone, reliable hard drive holds up well, performs its functionality with a bang, I tested it by heating, beating, washing, everything is fine except for 1 nuance, the water does not leave the speaker and after touching it wheezes until the water dries for about 2-3 hours
Reliability
If you rinse in water, water gets into the speaker and you have to wait for the water to dry.

Oukitel WP5 is a hardy “tube” for bearded lumberjacks or foremen at a construction site. Well, for everyone else who is ready to put up with the uncouth appearance of a smartphone for the sake of its indestructibility.

IPS panel

Most of the body of the model is covered with rubber, which effectively absorbs impact energy when the device falls. An additional element of protection is a side around the display. An IPS-matrix with a diagonal size of 5.5" and a standard HD + resolution (1440x720 pixels) is assigned to the role of the Oukitel WP5 screen. It is topped with tempered glass Gorilla Glass 5.

Powerful battery

The degree of water protection of the mobile device is marked IP68. Inside the “chubby” case of the smartphone, there is a capacious 8000 mAh battery. Unfortunately, without support for fast charging, which is why the process of replenishing energy reserves in the battery tanks stretches for about 4.5 hours. But the charging port here is quite modern — USB-C.

Bright LED flashlight

The obvious weakness of the model is performance. To reduce the cost of production, it uses an “iron” combination of a quad-core processor of the base level MediaTek Helio A22 and there is 4/32 GB of memory. The main camera of the smartphone is triple, but there is practically no sense from the auxiliary image sensors in addition to the main 13 MP sensor. On the other hand , a large LED flash near the trio of rear camera lenses turned out to be efficient, which can be called a full-fledged bright flashlight. Next to the flash is a platform fingerprint scanner to unlock the smartphone by fingerprint.
