the 27-inch panel with a pronounced focus on the business segment of users is stuffed to the eyeballs with everything you need for a comfortable pastime in front of the monitor screen. A key role in the design of the Philips 272B8QJEB is courtesy of a 10-bit IPS-matrix with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels, which provides realistic colour reproduction in a range of over 1.07 billion shades.

According to other parameters, the monitor screen is “average for the ward”: the matrix response time is 5 ms, the refresh rate is 60 Hz, and the viewing angles are close to the widest possible — 178 ° horizontally and vertically. The extended set of interfaces on board the model includes VGA (D-Sub), DVI-D, DisplayPort, HDMI and a quartet of USB ports. Complement the picture built-in stereo speakers with a total sound power of 4 watts. Separate respect — stand SmartErgoBase with support for adjusting the position of the monitor in height, tilt angle and its quick flip to portrait orientation. In addition to reducing visual load during long gatherings in front of the screen, Flicker-Free backlight flicker elimination technology and a LowBlue blue filter are installed.

I like it, you can take
23 April 2020
The colors are bright, juicy, there is no graininess, you can watch the video, run it too, everything is perfectly visible, without distortion and any jambs in the assembly, it is stable, the backlight is even, everything is really perfectly visible.
A matrix with wide viewing angles, with a fast matrix response too.
I don’t know yet.

I recommend buying it

An excellent monitor for its price, I've been using it since June of this year and overall I'm satisfied, happy with the purchase. The monitor was bought for coding and occasional video content viewing (movies/series/YouTube). It handles these tasks excellently. Initially, it seemed that the diagonal would be too large for work and I'd need to turn my head side to side, but I got used to it in a couple of days, and now the size seems quite comfortable. Possibly, I'll get the next monitor a couple or a few inches larger :) In Windows, I set the scaling to 125%, at 100% everything is quite small. The brightness level is acceptable, usually 85-100% in daylight, and 60-70% in the evening with the lights on is quite sufficient, without lighting you can use the built-in LowBlue Mode to reduce eye strain.
+ image quality + minimal light bleed on black (previously had a Dell 2418d, but had to return it due to terrible light bleed) + eyes don't get tired during prolonged use (flicker-free) + presence of four USB ports (two version 2.0 and two version 3.0) + reasonable price (purchased for $240-250 with manufacturer warranty) + good build quality + optimal screen size for work + Quad HD resolution
– The bezels, though not very large, are present
– Inconvenient port placement (not critical)
– Overall, not the most pleasant design. I can't say it's completely bad, but there were models with a nicer appearance. However, models with similar characteristics were significantly more expensive at the time of purchase, so I didn't see the point in paying extra for design
– The monitor doesn't support a connected external hard drive for power, which is used for periodic backups — the monitor sometimes starts turning off for a couple of seconds during copying, apparently the USB hub is intended more for flash drives and peripherals like mice and keyboards
– Built-in speakers are of very poor quality, which is expected for this price

great model, I really liked it

10bit matrix, ips gives a cool image. The matrix is not the fastest, but it is suitable for toys. It really conveys a bunch of colors, which is why it’s pleasant to work with the image; the picture is visible from all points of view without distortion. The refresh rate is normal, not bad. but not that AH. but there are many ports, there is even a USB hub. The screen here is 27 inches - not weak.
Screen visibility. Ergonomics.
No problem.
