Rode PodMic USB

Enhanced modification of the original Rode PodMic model, now equipped with a USB Type C connection port. Meanwhile, the microphone has retained its analog XLR output. The digital USB port features a Revolution Preamp and a powerful APHEX signal processing system, all of which together allow for capturing studio-quality sound. DSP effects include compressor, high-pass filter, Aural Exciter, and Big Bottom.

The microphone is equipped with a large dynamic capsule with a frequency range coverage from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, sensitivity up to -57 dB, and a maximum sound pressure level of up to 148 dB. Complementing the setup is a 24-bit/48 kHz analog-to-digital converter. The model uses a classic cardioid polar pattern for capturing sounds from the front plane. Wired headphones, connected via a 3.5mm mini jack, serve for monitoring recordings without the slightest delay. The microphone features a built-in swivel mount, an integrated pop filter to minimize plosive sounds, and an internal shock mount to protect against vibrations. Additionally, the model's compatibility with the entire RODE software suite—Central, Connect, Capture, and UNIFY—deserves mention.
