Over-ear full-size headphones from niche manufacturer Sennheiser offer an advanced-class solution for demanding audiophiles and quality sound enthusiasts. The model is notable for its combined connectivity, supporting three methods — two wired options with a mini-Jack (3.5 mm) and USB-C (including detachable audio cables), plus Bluetooth v 5.2, with a special BTD 700 dongle.
The Sennheiser HDB 630 headphones are equipped with 42mm dynamic drivers operating in a wide frequency range of 6 to 40000 Hz. They are Hi-Res Audio licensed and provide a very detailed and balanced soundstage, which allows for fine adjustments via the branded mobile app. A strong point of the model is the active noise-cancellation system adaptive ANC, which effectively blocks external noise.
There is also a transparency mode for clear background and ambient sound audibility, supports aptX Adaptive codec, and additional useful options, including auto-pause upon removal. The model includes four built-in microphones, rotating cups, and a sturdy body that supports a comfortable fit, thanks to a flexible headband with soft padding and quality faux leather ear pads. The 700 mAh battery ensures great autonomy, up to 60 hours of music listening. A full charge cycle takes 2 hours, but there is also fast charging — 10 minutes of power gives another 7 hours of operation.

For those who don't care about sound quality and cost, go ahead and buy, but for those who value their hard-earned money and ears, I strongly advise against purchasing them. 1. Fast charging. 2. Decent battery life. 3. USB dongle included for PC (BTD700). 4. All advertised features work well. 5. Sound quality is acceptable, it's okay to listen. 1. Unreasonable cost of 470-560 EUR depending on where you buy them. 2. Rubber ear pads make your ears sweat (uncomfortable) and there are no replacements included. 3. They don't work when turned off, can't listen with an external DAC. 4. Low volume, you want to turn it up, but can't, it's frustrating.
