They are fitted with 42-mm drivers that provide natural sound across the full frequency spectrum, with a fairly wide soundstage and highlighted bass. In addition to traditional AAC, SBC, and aptX codecs, the Sennheiser device also supports the Qualcomm aptX Adaptive feature, which enhances signal transmission quality over Bluetooth connectivity. For connecting to a smartphone, player, or other signal source, you can use Bluetooth connection, a USB-C port, or the old-fashioned 3.5 mm mini-jack.

Flagship sound at an affordable price Switched to them after being completely disappointed with the quality of Sony (WH1000xm5, XB910n), where everything creaked and fell apart right out of the box. First - convenient case, headphones and all corresponding accessories already there and nothing falls out. Next, I'll note the comfort: they fit perfectly, but the weight is evenly distributed so that even after 3-4 hours of continuous use there are no hints of discomfort. Nothing creaks, the materials are pleasant to the touch. Since I wear glasses, I'll note that the headphones do not affect or press on them (which is not the case with all models). The sound quality is just WOW. Without exaggeration - they sound rich, full, the bass doesn't suffocate, but impresses with depth and smoothness, mids are clear, and highs don't blend into a uniform mess. The controls, although touch-based, are intuitive and understandable, I would even say quite convenient. The headphones will also please those who like to talk on the phone - the microphones are very high-quality and you are heard without distortions, there is none of that cheap "barrel-like" sound. Also, I want to mention the proprietary app, which immediately offered to update the firmware and then allowed customizing the equalizer and other functions. As a bonus - stunning battery life, I charge them once a week and even then at 50% left, while using them every day with great pleasure. Personally, I didn't find any drawbacks. Rich and detailed sound
Compared to the Sony XM4, which has become the benchmark for quality for many, Sennheiser, according to many owners, provides a higher level of comfort. The sound of the Momentum 4 is more neutral: the bass is clearly audible, but not too dominant, the mids are detailed, and the highs do not merge even in the most intense compositions. The sound is warmer and velvety than that of Sennheiser monitor models. However, the active noise cancellation system lags behind Sony and Bose in efficiency. aptX Adaptive support
