Party-shot function
Party-shot turns your Cyber-shot camera into a "personal photographer". The all-new Party-shot feature automatically captures relaxed, high-quality shots of everyone in the room. It's an amazing way to stay in the frame during parties, celebrations, and special family and friendly gatherings.
Party-shot is a rotating dock that allows the Cyber-shot to follow the action on its own. Party-shot automatically rotates, tilts and controls zoom using Face Detection technology to recognize and track people in the room. You will get high-quality \"beautified\" pictures of all the people in the room, including yourself.

Exmor R CMOS sensor
Sony's high-resolution Exmor R CMOS sensor for Cyber-shot cameras captures quality Full HD photos and movies with exceptional detail, colour reproduction - and minimal noise.
Cyber-shot's Exmor R CMOS sensor has twice the sensitivity of traditional sensors, cutting noise in half.

Sweep panorama function
Stunning landscapes. Spectacular city views: from cathedrals to skyscrapers. Now it's all easy with Cyber-shot with the new Sweep Panorama feature. To capture an ultra-wide-angle panoramic shot without visible seams in an instant, just press the shutter button and move the camera in the air from one imaginary point to another.
You can also take vertical shots: for example, to take a spectacular photo of a high-rise building, you need to move the camera from top to bottom or from bottom to top.

Smile Shutter
Smile Shutter makes your portraits and family shots even more interesting. Cyber-shot detects when the person in the frame is smiling and fires the shutter at just the right moment to capture happy smiling faces.

Face focus
Recognizes faces in the picture, automatically adjusts the focus, flash exposure and white balance in order to get a natural result. Recognizes up to eight faces in the frame. You can select adult or child priority.

AF-assist beam
Proper focus and composition is extremely difficult to achieve in low or no light conditions. When shooting in any lighting condition, from bright daylight to complete darkness, the AF-assist illuminator automatically illuminates the subject to ensure the camera focuses accurately. This guarantees a sharply focused image with clear contours, regardless of lighting conditions.

Super SteadyShot
Sony's unique stabilization technology for Handycam® camcorders, Cyber-shot digital cameras and DSLRs uses a shake detection method (through gyro sensors). The result (blur reduction) is equally good on all cameras, but each of them has a slightly different technology.
