A telephoto lens with an atypical set of focal lengths of 70-210 mm and a constant aperture of f / 4 from Tamron is notable for the fact that its body does not change in size when zooming and focus — all the movement of the elements of the optical circuit occurs inside the lens structure. And there are a lot of them here: 20 elements in 14 groups (including a trinity of lenses with low dispersion to reduce chromatic aberrations).

Internal focus allows you to comfortably use filters with a diameter for installation of which is 67 mm. Moreover, inside the Tamron 70-210mm 4.0 Di VC USD, you can find an ultrasonic ring-type autofocus drive and an optical image stabilization system. The effectiveness of the latter is evaluated by the ability to compensate for up to 4 stops of exposure when shooting handheld or in low light conditions. The entire internal hardware is "under cover" of the outer "wrapper" with dust and water protection properties. The lens is available in versions for Nikon and Canon full-frame SLR cameras.
