Model overview based on user reviews
The Transcend MTS600 M.2 SSD offers impressive performance with sequential read speeds of up to 507.104 MB/s and write speeds of 159.376 MB/s, making it a strong choice for those prioritizing speed. Its compact size is a significant advantage, occupying much less space than traditional SSDs, and it simplifies installation by eliminating the need for wires or frames. Users have noted a noticeable improvement in system startup times, with Windows 10 booting in as little as 5 seconds initially. However, some users have observed that the write speed may not always meet the manufacturer's claims, potentially requiring a firmware update, which can be complex for the average user. Overall, this SSD is a good value for those with an M.2 connector, offering a balance of performance and convenience.
Pros

Cons

good model, I liked it.

A good working hard drive for a reasonable price. If you have an M.2 connector on the board, then it is better to pay attention to this disk, instead of the usual 2.5-inch one, because. no wires or a frame are needed for connection, you just need to plug the board into the connector.
For those who are interested in speed, with the help of Cristal Mark I got the following results: Sequential Read (Q=32,T=1): 507.104 MB/s, Sequential Write (Q=32,T=1): 159.376 MB/s, Random Read 4KiB (Q=32,T=1): 261.387 MB/s [63104.7 IOPS], Random Write 4KiB (Q=32,T=1): 156.134 MB/s [37795.4 IOPS], Sequential Read (T=1): 443.592 MB/s, Sequential Write (T=1): 151.998 MB/s, Random Read 4KiB (Q=1,T=1): 23.632 MB/s [5780.8 IOPS], Random Write 4KiB (Q=1,T=1 ): 104.197 MB/s [25438.7 IOPS]. Windows 10 is installed, so judge for yourself how great the numbers are. The drive is interesting for its small size, because it takes up space an order of magnitude less than traditional SSDs. I also liked that the computer, during installation, turned off the defragmentation of the drive itself. By the way, the disk seriously affected the system startup time. Immediately after installation, the start took place for 5 seconds, and after two months - somewhere in 8-9.
After testing, I noticed that the write speed is lower than the one that the manufacturer writes about. Maybe you need to update the firmware, I do not know, in general. Although the process of downloading and installing a new firmware version is similar to setting up a starship. Too complicated for an ordinary user, I could not figure it out.
