Physical buttons to call the voice assistant. Bluetooth 5.0 provides a reliable stable connection with a smartphone. Can be used individually as a headset. Waterproof IPX4.
It differs from the model Mi Airdots by the lack of touch controls. There is also no volume control. The capacity of the charging case is smaller than that of Mi Airdots, and the dimensions of the case and the earbuds themselves are slightly larger.

Affordable and compact True Wireless (TWS) in-ear headphones with a built-in microphone and good battery life. They differ from previous TWS models of this popular Chinese brand in the use of a new version of the bluetooth 5.0 wireless interface. Model overview based on user reviews
The Xiaomi Redmi AirDots are a budget-friendly option for those seeking wireless earbuds. They offer good sound quality for their price, with a loud volume and decent bass. The earbuds are lightweight and comfortable, fitting securely in the ears, making them suitable for activities like sports. They feature Bluetooth 5.0 for a stable connection, although some users report occasional connectivity issues and extraneous noise. The battery life is satisfactory, lasting around 3-4 hours on a single charge, with the case providing additional charges. However, the build quality is criticized, with reports of the case and buttons feeling flimsy. The lack of touch controls and the inability to switch tracks or adjust volume directly on the earbuds are noted drawbacks. Despite these limitations, the Redmi AirDots are praised for their affordability and overall value, making them a popular choice for those new to true wireless earbuds.

For the price - top-notch. Don't expect anything supernatural from very budget-friendly headphones!!! If you want something more "cool," then the price will be cooler too.

Excellent headphones! A luxurious option for the money!
Beautiful, excellent sound, from Xiaomi (a brand that many people know, which is automatically a plus)
The headphones don't look as impressive as in the pictures + it seems that they are about to fall out of my ears... Although this is most likely due to the fact that I have small ears xd
use Xiaomi Redmi AirDots less than month
take as plugs for work or as spares

i have been using these headphones for over a year, and as a drawback, I would highlight the quality of the case, which quickly lost its appearance. Overall, for their price, they are good headphones, but don't expect anything extraordinary.

Folk true wireless headphones

When the first expensive true wireless headphones appeared on the market, the question hung in the air, when will Xiaomi appear on the horizon and bring true wireless to the masses? It didn’t take long to wait, and already at the beginning of 2019, the Chinese released several completely wireless headphones that claim to be popular. Redmi AirDots stand out even against their background: for their $30 they sound at a very decent level, are friends with Bluetooth 5.0, play for 4 hours on a single charge and can be used separately, playing the role of a headset.

Be easier

In terms of design, Redmi AirDots do not evoke emotions. Outwardly, they resemble Meizu POP 2, but not so elegant. A variant of the type "inserted in the ear and forgot." More importantly, the usability of Redmi AirDots is at the top five: they are light, sit securely in the ear, do not fall out if you shake your head a little, and do not cause discomfort in the ears after an hour of listening to music. Plus, they have IPX4 water resistance. That is, you can’t swim with them, but the headphones will not suffer from accidentally falling drops of rain or sweat.

Neutral and honest sound

Regarding the sound quality, AirDots play exactly for their money, but without much enthusiasm and zest. However, if you go down to earth and compare them not with much more expensive TW models, but with competitors for $30, then there will be no complaints about the sound quality. They have a good volume reserve, and the character is rather neutral, without falling into extremes. That is, in hip-hop with an abundance of low frequencies, they honestly give out maximum bass, and where it was not originally there, you will have to add an equalizer.

microUSB instead of USB-C

Against the background of all that has been said, you can only cling to the microUSB connector to recharge the case. This does not affect the sound quality and usability in any way, it's just strange that an outdated standard is used for such an advanced thing. Well, it’s a pity that AirDots can’t pause music when you take the earpiece out of your ear, like AirPods 2.

The Redmi Airdots S model is not the second generation of headphones, but simply an improved version. The difference with Redmi Airdots is that Airdots S pair with the smartphone immediately together, and not as before separately, as well as the presence of a mode with a lower delay.
