The third generation of premium TWS headphones from the Redmi line, which were introduced by Xiaomi in the summer of 2021. As before, this is a technically advanced and at the same time versatile device that is aimed at users in search of quality headphones with advanced noise reduction and hands-free headset capabilities. The main novelty of the third generation of Redmi Buds is the new active noise cancellation system.
It is based on a bundle of three microphones (in each earpiece) and advanced ANS algorithms that analyze ambient noise in real time and filter it depending on the user's settings. In contrast to ANS, the headphones have a so-called transparent mode, which, with a single press of a button, brings back all the surrounding sounds. For sound reproduction, proprietary dynamic drivers with the SoC-QCC3040 audio path are responsible.
In terms of sound, this is a universal option that accurately reproduces any musical genre of music with clearly distinguishable tops, middles and bottoms. The use of an energy-efficient Bluetooth 5.2 interface ensures stable pairing with a signal source at a distance of up to 10 meters, while consuming a minimum of energy. In particular, the manufacturer guarantees up to 6 hours of battery life on a single charge and another 28 hours when using the charging case.
The case supports wireless charging. The playback and volume control of the tradition is carried out with the help of mother-of-pearl touch panels located on the headphones themselves. Because of this, Redmi Buds 3 Pro are somewhat reminiscent of earrings, which stand out from numerous copies of AirPods. I bought it on Aliexpress in December 2021 for $44. I hadn't bought anything like it on Ali before, but when the price was around $80 here, I didn't really want to pay almost double the price. I've been using it for a year and a half now; the sound might drop out for a second once a week, meaning the connection is just top-notch. I can't really praise the noise-canceling much; I don't know about others, but with the noise-canceling on, I start to get a headache. The noise-canceling works pretty well for the price. I've been using it for half a week and I can already say - excellent headphones. There is noise reduction, which, for some reason, does not always work at full capacity, maybe there is some kind of smart algorithm. However, he is able to drown out the subway. There is support for two devices, which is undoubtedly very convenient. I connected the headphones with the phone and laptop. Works great. There is no separate application and separate settings, which is sad, you can see the charge of the case only in the animation when opening the case. The noise-canceling charge lasts ~4.5 hours. Touch control is convenient, there are no accidental clicks, because for any action you need to touch it more than twice. When removed, the headphones automatically pause the music, but when you hold the earphone in your hand, this function does not work quite correctly. It is also important about the case: I have a gray version and it gets dirty. It leaves traces of literally everything. If you take it, then black is probably better.
