Graphics Cards ASRock series Formula
ASRock Formula
Another series of graphics cards from ASRock that frankly swims against the current, focusing on high-end circuitry, efficient cooling and overclocking of the GPU, rather than lighting and additional features. As part of this series, exclusively top-end Radeon video accelerators based on the Big Navi architecture (RDNA 2) are released. These cards are built with 2K and 4K gaming in mind, and can fully fit into the big leagues of video accelerators. In fact, these are direct competitors to the flagship video cards Gigabyte Aorus, Asus ROG Strix and ZOTAC AM.
Perhaps, the principles of the Formula series are best revealed by the RX 6900 XT Formula model, which, even 2 years after its release, does not lose its position. It is based on a completely redesigned printed circuit board of our own production with an enhanced power subsystem, dual VGA-UEFI chips and triple 8-pin connectors for unlimited power. Its graphics chip runs out of the box at 2475 MHz, while the reference version of the RX 6900 operates at a more modest 2250 MHz.
The cooling system of the ASRock Radeon RX 6900 XT OC Formula is represented by a two-section radiator that runs through seven copper heat pipes. From above, the structure is covered by a trinity of fans with ribbed impeller. A smooth metal backplate covers the entire back of the video card, simultaneously performing a decorative function and giving it the necessary rigidity. Additional thermal pads on the rear panel provide additional cooling for the GPU and memory chips. The casing of the RX 6900 XT Formula is adorned with neat Polychrome Sync addressable lighting, which can be turned off.
