— the name of this material is due to the fact that it is a combination of fibreglass and plastic. Such a composition is notable primarily for its elasticity — the arcs are not deformable even with prolonged exposure to load. At the same time, fibreglass is inexpensive, and its weight is quite small. At the same time, such frames are not well suited for winter hiking or mountain climbing — in the cold they become brittle and can break at any time.
