Thanks to this, devices for 230 V are easy to use and are widely used. At the same time, single-phase power in itself is poorly suited for high power devices. And even relatively low-power models create a rather significant load on the mains, which requires caution in use, high-quality wiring, and with power above 5 kW – a direct connection to the electrical panel. However, such power supply is usually quite sufficient for domestic purposes.
