After the success of the Legion gaming laptops, Lenovo management decided to strike while the iron was hot and launched a separate line of gaming peripherals of the same name, which included headphones for gamers. As in the case of laptops, the feature of the series is a neat and sophisticated design, evoking associations with the words “Hi-Fi” and “premium”. Otherwise, these are far from the most expensive classic closed-back headphones with a retractable microphone, an adjustable headband and large soft ear pads that completely cover the ears. Representatives of the G series are most often connected to a computer using a regular audio cable; completely wireless options or Legion models with a combined connection are less common.

Since the launch of the series in 2019, the Chinese manufacturer has released a total of 4 headsets, which were later diluted with a couple of wireless modifications. It all started with the Legion H300 and H500 with an extendable perforated headband, a detachable cable, and a multi-colored twisted cable that connects the headband to the earcups. The younger H300 connects to a PC or console using a 3.5 mm mini-jack; the older H500, in addition to an audio cable, has a USB A adapter and a built-in 7.1 virtual multi-channel audio system. Otherwise they are identical.

In 2022, Lenovo released an update in the form of two new headsets, Legion H200 and H600, which turned out to have many more differences than their predecessors. In fact, the H200 belongs to the entry level and does not pretend to have any wow effect. This is a completely ordinary headset with a retractable microphone that costs only $40 and stands out from the competition due to its neat design and breathable ear pads made of thick fabric. The H600 takes things up a notch, standing out with a sleeker design, built-in radio, and a compact battery that offers about 20 hours of battery life.
