Hearing aid batteries
prices on 117 models— hearing aid batteries are similar in shape and size to most “coins”, but outwardly they stand out noticeably due to the presence of coloured stickers that are removed before use. And the main design feature of such batteries is a specific air-zinc technology. From the factory, such batteries come out hermetically sealed, in an inactive state – so they can be stored for a very long time without losing their working properties. And in order for the battery to start generating energy, user need to remove the coloured plug so that air begins to flow inside. The service life after depressurization is strictly limited – but, usually, when used in a hearing aid, the battery is discharged faster than this period passes.
Nowadays, there are 4 main sizes of hearing aid batteries, here is their list in order of decreasing size: PR44 (blue plug), PR48 (orange), PR41 (brown), PR70 (yellow).
