In addition, nickel-cadmium cells normally tolerate low and high air temperatures. Such batteries are subject to the memory effect — a decrease in capacity in the event that a battery that is not completely discharged is put on charge. However, this point can be eliminated by using advanced charge controllers and chargers. But the unequivocal disadvantage of Ni-Cd technology is environmental insecurity — it is typical for all batteries, but in this case it is most pronounced.
