— one of the representatives of the currently popular family of batteries – Li-Ion (see "Technology"), with a cylindrical case, a nominal voltage of 3.7 V and a five-digit marking. Note that in our catalog, not all options are included in the search filter, but only some, the most popular options of similar sizes.

Batteries from this family are very popular in devices equipped with electric engines and consuming a lot of energy - quadcopters, radio-controlled models, airsoft drives, etc. Such elements differ mainly in dimensions and, accordingly, in capacity. And the mentioned marking just indicates the dimensions: the first two digits correspond to the diameter in millimeters, and the remaining three to the length in tenths of a millimeter. Accordingly, although the dimensions 21700 is far from the largest in the series, it provides quite significant dimensions – 21 mm in diameter and 70 mm in length. And the presence of a protection board (see "More features"), which is not uncommon for such batteries, can add a couple more millimeters to the length.

Note that initially the elements of this dimensions were created for electric bicycles; however, nowadays they are quite widely used – mainly in devices with increased requirements for capacity, for which the popular 18650 batteries are no longer enough. The capacity of 21700 batteries is usually in the range from 3000 to 5000 mAh.
