— one of the representatives of the currently popular Li-Ion rechargeable batteries family (see "Technology"), with a cylindrical case, a nominal voltage of 3.7 V and a five-digit marking. Note that in our catalog, not all but only some, the most popular options for similar sizes are included in the search filter.

Rechargeable batteries from this family are very popular in devices equipped with electric motors and consuming a lot of energy – quadcopters, radio-controlled models, airsoft drives, etc. Such elements differ mainly in dimensions and, accordingly, in capacity. And the mentioned marking just indicates the sizes: the first two digits correspond to the diameter in millimeters, and the remaining three to the length in tenths of a millimeter. Accordingly, the 16340 siza assumes a diameter of 16 mm and a length of 34 mm; and if there is a protection board (see "More features"), the length is usually increased to 36 mm.

One of the specific features of such rechargeable batteries is that they are almost identical to CR123 cells (see the relevant paragraph) and differ noticeably only in thickness – it is 1 mm less. So these sizes are interchangeable in most cases, and in the case of the CR123, this applies to both rechargeable batteries and non chargeable batteries. And the standard capacity of 16340 cells is from 550 to 800 mAh, which also more or less corresponds to the performance of rechargeable CR123 (about 700 mAh).
