Telecaster

— body designs inspired by the Fender Telecaster, perhaps the world's first mass-produced (and still popular) solid body electric guitar. One of the most noticeable differences between the "Telecaster" and another classic form — "Stratocaster" — is a slightly pronounced upper cutout: the upper "horn" on such cases is very blunt and rounded, sometimes purely symbolic. In addition, tremolo machines are almost never installed in such instruments (see "Bridge"). The standard pickup option is two single-coils (see "Pickup Diagram"), but many models are equipped with humbuckers (sometimes only with them).
