Synthesizers with timbre layering
Timbre layering
— the ability to simultaneously play several timbres on the synthesizer by overlaying them on top of each other — for example, to combine the sound of a string orchestra and piano. In other words, each note on such an instrument can sound in two timbres at once. At the same time, in some models, only preset combinations of timbres are provided, in others, each instrument can be selected separately. Also note that more than two timbres usually do not overlap each other — if you need to combine more instruments, it is easier to do this by mixing individual parts.timbre layering | clear | Save List |
